My name is Ella Main, and I’m currently a second-semester senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I’m from Park Ridge, Illinois, and I graduated from Maine South High School in the spring of 2019. I’m majoring in journalism with a minor in political science, and I have a passion for law. In the summer of 2022, I studied abroad in Vienna, Austria, and got to visit and see presentations made by multiple international organizations, strengthening my interest in international law. This includes the United Nations, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Companies (OPEC), and The United States Mission to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Upon graduation, I intend on working as a legal secretary and applying to law school for the fall semester of 2024.
